CHURCH PLANTING IS POWERFUL. 

We believe that sowing the seed of the gospel anew leads to a flourishing city — one that's brimming with an awareness of God’s presence. Establishing new churches has proven (biblically, sociologically, and historically) to be the single most effective strategy to reach non-Christians with the gospel of Jesus, restore areas of brokenness and injustice, and renew the whole Body of Christ. It is our love for the people and places, businesses and nonprofits, streets and neighborhoods of Minneapolis that compels us to plant a church here.

MINNEAPOLIS NEEDS JESUS.

The Twin Cities have great potential for influence. With 200,000+ college students and more corporate headquarters per capita than anywhere else in the nation, MSP will mark this generation and the next.

There is also a rich spiritual legacy — the city’s cultural landscape and architecture attest to this! We’re not the first to herald the message of the Christianity. We won’t be the last. But with a culture continuing to trend away from God, Minneapolis needs Jesus.

The “do-your-own-thing” mindset has ripped deity from the Trinity and affixed it to humanity. Secularism sold the North a bill of goods — affecting economics, race, politics, and people — such that division and godlessness threaten to rule the day. The Church has lost ground in the heart of the city, and as the city goes, so goes the culture.

A COMPELLING VISION BEGS PRACTICAL QUESTIONS.

We hope this website provides some basic answers to who we are, what we plan to do, and what we need to do it. We'll be the first to admit we don't have all the answers! However, I hope you’ll be encouraged by God’s grace in our lives, and consider partnering with us for the glory of God and the good of Minneapolis.

Trent & Laura have been married for six years! God has given us two sweet and strong daughters: Audrey Grace and Eva Joy.  

WHY MINNEAPOLIS?

We have loved the people and places of Minneapolis for years. Once we began dreaming about establishing a new church, the Lord was abundantly clear: Minneapolis is the place.
